EXPERIMENTA INDIA has been invited to VIDEOEX, International Experimental film & Video Festival Zürich (May 27-June3, 2012) to showcase compelling moving image art from India at this year”s festival The participation has been supported by Pro Helvetia – Swiss Arts Council.
This programme of historical and contemporary films and videos offer a peek into the aesthetic and socio political complexities of experimental filmmaking in India. We also extend the experimental sound art collaboration initiated between Indian Sonic Research Organisation (India), Dr. Marc Duseiller (Switzerland) and anyma (Switzerland) at Experimenta 2011 through an experimental sound & music performance, and a workshop to craft and design electronic music instruments.
